★ G E N E R A L: Zephyr is oft a stoic, soft-spoken individual. While not much of a conversation starter, he can be quite the conversationalist when approached, and under the right circumstances, can even go on for hours without realizing a minute has passed. Where in the past he spent most of his time buried in books, he has been attempting to become more sociable, and even if he doesn't say much, enjoys the company of others. Due to the nature of his upbringing, he is romantically and comedically oblivious, and will seldom understand jokes or advances.

Zephyr remembers very little of his early life, but he does know that he originally hailed from Radiant Garden, where he (until now) had taken residence. From the age of 3 until the age of 11, he and his father, all resided in Traverse Town under the watchful eyes of a select brave and powerful few. Though Zephyr never met any of them, the stories he heard filled him with a great sense of respect and admiration- quite the stark contrast to the stories of his mother. Zephyr's father spoke very bitterly of her, and told the boy that she had left the two of them without a second thought, following her own path.
The Heartless an ever looming threat, he was forbidden from venturing from home, and was instead forced into solitude, where he took to studying magic and academics intensely, reading about the outside worlds with immense wonder. He read of their home, how it had once been a great splendor among the worlds, but had been over-run by a wicked witch who wielded immense power, and gave herself to the darkness. One could only imagine his joy when news came that she had been felled, and that they could return to Radiant Garden.
For a time, he thought that perhaps he could finally go out into the world- meet people, maybe make friends. Zephyr's father would have none of it, however, and confined him still to their abode. Zephyr would not be detained forever, though. His heart longed for the outside- longed to escape the dark, bitter environment that everyday life with his father had become. Often did he see other young people, longing to join them.
After years, he refuses to wait any longer. He has become a young man, and desires to make with his life what he will. Against his father's protests, Zephyr has set out with the intent of joining the Academy.
