★ A P P E A R A N C E: Strong and physically capable, but hard to tell with her clothing. Tall with a heart-shaped face that looks like a child’s. Plain brown hair, plain brown eyes. As a friend put it once: she is easily lost in the background. She wears brown knee high boots, a long beige sweater that looks like a tunic, and black shorts. There is a drawstring bag hanging off her shoulders, right below the black handles of her tonguns peeking out over her sweater.



★ G E N E R A L:

If her classmates and family were to describe her they would say she was quiet, mousey and timid and that she was too nice for her own good. She was quiet because she could not talk to anyone, without risk of revealing herself. She ducked away from people to keep them away. She went out of her way to be kind to others, so no one would have anything bad to say about her. Which was useful to have in a tight spot. Though in reality she could get quite jealous very easily.

However, at night, she is snarky, teasing, playfully flirting. She can be a practical chatterbox. And if she is angry, she has no problem with screaming back. Or beating the stuffing out of any training pillar that is standing in front of her. She has been told she could get pretty scary when angered.

But she has not been like that for a while. She spends nights alone, and she has found it hard to trust people again to be herself with. She can get lost in her own thoughts. And thanks to her time with a certain odd traveler, she finds herself thinking of things and ideas that others could call strange. She is an emotional rollercoaster all on her own. She is still a thinker, but tends to react almost instantly.

★ E T C E T E R A: Rain is very good at reading people. She cannot always tell when someone is lying, but she can guess the type of person someone is after speaking with them for a few minutes, and reacts accordingly. On the other hand, she tends to be suspicious, and hides her own thoughts. She is also borderline suicidal.


★ P U B L I C:

Seven years ago, the islands were swallowed by darkness. And with it, all the island’s inhabitants. Most fell into a dark sleep. Some turned into heartless. A rare few remained awake. Rain was one of them. But her story was not an adventure.In Traverse Town, Rain ended up bonding with the other lost world inhabitants. She met many people and learned of many worlds, relying on Leon Yuffie, Cid and Aerith to keep her safe, like the rest of Traverse Town residents. She met a young man from a world even more technologically inept than hers, and learned his trade: blacksmithing.When the worlds were finally restored, she should have been relieved and happy. But her problems, ironically enough, were just beginning.

It was like it never happened. No one knew of the “storm” or the time they slept, or the true horrors that lied out there among the stars. And Rain was starting to get the distinct impression she was the only one who did. All she got for her stories were stares, and questions to her well-being and sanity.  until months later, she finally stopped telling them. But her ordeal had changed her, and her family and friends could not explain why. Eventually, she was simply termed crazy, with an imagination that had become too vivid for her to handle. She fell silent, but could not stop sneaking out to keep practicing blacksmithing. It was the only proof she had that it wasn’t all a dream, and she hadn’t gone crazy. She kept this up for a year. And when Kairi went missing and the island went into an uproar again, Rain’s suspicions grew. But she never spoke to the mysterious three when they returned, and Rain lost her chance when they left again, still leaving Rain stuck. Time passed, and she attempted to finally live a “normal” life, and give up on her old visions, believing everyone else’s excuses and thinking that it really had all just been a wild bout of insanity. She blocked them from her memory, leaving the nightmares behind and finally adjusting back into a normal life.

When the transportation devices were installed, and it was revealed that there were other worlds out there, the young people started talking excitedly about traveling to distant worlds while the older folk just shook their heads, hardly believing it. All of a sudden, the people who once scoffed at her were turning to her for answers, but it was too late. The memories had been completely blocked, and the girl had no answers to give. She was called a liar and deceiver, ridiculed and laughed at. She had been right all along, and only now her family believed her, right when she had finally managed to forget. Rain snapped and ran, leaving her family behind and never looking back. Traveling from world to world, Rain keeps running, looking for someone she has no name for, but knowing she can’t afford to hold still and go back. Once a year, she travels to the academy to seek her friend, but she never stays, still constantly searching.

Weapon Name:Tonguns
Description:
A pair of tonfas that are hollow like the barrel of a gun. She stacks several knives inside as ammo, and when fully stacked, the last knife sticks out of the barrel, making two bladed ends for her to attack with. Her belt of knives crisscrosses over her torso under her sweater.The butt end of one has a locking mechanism, and she sticks the two together and twists it until it clicks into place, giving her a long staff to fight with. She also has a dagger strapped to her thigh for immediate attacks, just in case she needs to strike out quickly. (Like, for example, of something had managed to sneak up on her.)
Skill: Short and long range, no stat boosts.

★ M A G I C:

Dark-Mill - [Duration-one post - Cooldown one post] When her tonguns are locked together as a staff, Rain runs the weapon with darkness, and twirls it in a deadly spin attack against her enemies.

Dark Extended Combo- [Duration- One post—Cooldown two posts]A dozen rapid strikes in one: Head, shoulders, two across the chest, two across the stomach, two diagonals across the torso, two strikes to the side of the ribs, and one final uppercut. Fueled by darkness, this attack is very fast.
