★ G E N E R A L: Sora hasn't lost his upbeat attitude and his will to help other people, in fact its one of the reasons he began teaching at the academy. He tends to take new situations in stride and pokes his nose where it doesn't belong if it benefits his friends. In truth Sora is selfless in most senses of the word, which can cause him to get in trouble from time to time. He can be so concerned about other people that he'll forget to worry about himself, and he tends to act before really thinking things through. He'd rather focus on the 'good' of a situation than the bad no matter how grave things seem to be.

Everyone knows Sora's history. At least everyone knows his history up until the end of his Mark of Mastery exam, which he failed by the way. To be honest Sora was crushed about it, but the fact that Riku passed was more than enough to cover up his own disappointment. He knew he had messed up, and he knew there was a lot he still needed to learn and he needed to train more, he needed to try more. The keyblade wasn't just a toy and that was something he had learned in the midst of all the fighting and everything else. So his training intensified.

Sora was glad to be able to help save Ventus and the others locked within his heart along with Terra and Aqua, honestly a whole grocery list of people needed them right now. It was only after the darkness had been defeated that Sora was granted his title as Master.

Some time after that Yen Sid and Mickey proposed the idea of an academy, and he eagerly jumped on the idea. The thought of teaching never really pleased Sora but the idea of helping people who might need it seemed like a better way to look at it, and besides it wasn't like he was doing anything else.
