The first place Silas stepped foot onto after leaving his home seemed to be some sort of fort built along the sea. He could hear the waves crashing against rocks below, he could smell the scent of salt from the sea, and he could see cannons point out to the horizon. He stepped out towards the wall overlooking the ocean and took in the view. "This is definately not Twilight Town." he said to himself as he scanned the area. Once he had seen everything that the area had to offer he headed down the stairs along the side of the wall.
He stopped once he got to the bottom and leaned out from behind the wall to check on what's going on. He saw people walking through the streets in what appeared to be an old time marketplace, wearing old time clothes. "Wonder if I'll run into pirates while I'm here" he thought before he dismissed it. Silas took one look down at himself and realized he was going to stick out like a sore thumb. "If I go out there right now I have a feeling their eyes are all gonna shift to me. Still, it'd be a waste to leave now." As he decided what to do, the sound of an explosion rang out. "What was that?"

SEBASTIAN 'DE VINCENTIS The Evil that Judges Evil
Once upon a time in a place far far away a boy lived happily with a cold old man he called his father. One day the boy disobeyed his father and took off to the caverns that littered Radiant Garden and playfully frolicked happily within its dark corridors. He returned home before the dusk of light left the sun and upon his arrival back home his father summoned him to his study. The boy was scared he knew the study was never a place to be summoned too. It had a omen of misfortune written all over it. He entered the room with his chin held high, but as his father witnessed the boy enter he projected himself like a menacing beast as he set his gazes upon Sebastian. His fathers eyes were like daggers that pierced the boys little heart as if drawing the life from him, but his father merely sat Sebastian down and told him a tale. Sebastian's Father told him the story of Icarus a young man troubled by the mistakes of his father he tried to escape the trials and tribulations and ignored instructions not to fly too close to the sun. The pilfered feathers slowly began to tear away like rain-drops to the sea the wax following suit oozing as the ardour of heat began to rip apart the very wings that gave him flight until there was no more and the hopes of dreams of Icarus faded into shivering abyss. He said till this day his feathers preordain each reckoning moment of our lives through the great beyond. Sebastian laughed the overzealous wrinkled man was mistaken obviously as he began to laugh absurdly a bellyful of snickers. He stood now, nearly twelve years in a new world and recent events lead him to begin thinking upon the words that his father uttered they became the grounds of his premise, his mission, his quest and the question that marked the basis of his reasoning. He believed each moment was weaved for reasons unbenounced they are drenched in hopes and dreams that either failed or succeeded, but within each single event laid a delicate balance between truths and facts that bring people whether through hate or justice to the end of our crossroads in which you either burn away and be judged or stand upon the premise of your actions and lead yourself to victory.
The moon glimmered in the soft luminescent darkness as Sebastian stood along the tip of a cliff and simply watched as a explosion went off near the nearby town. "I see that humans truly enjoy conflict."
"Why is humanity an existence which only conflicts with itself."
"Only the pain has remained. The pain in my mind and the pain in my heart are on the edge of eruption. I believe it is time for the world to change once again.."
Sebastian turned to rush down the cliff and towards the explosion near the city, "This Cruel World."

The calm of the ocean was something Mira never could quite get used to. Hailing from Twilight Town, she was more used to the hustle and bustle of people in their busy, every day lives. That at least seemed the same in the town nearby. Port Royal, was it? She'd been here once before, but her stay had been interrupted by an altercation with a few ruffians. Pah. Pitiful miscreants, they were, wanting to do unspeakable things to her! When the night was done, she'd left their faces nearly unrecognizable.
This night so far though was vastly different- much superior to her previous stay. The breeze was soothing, revitalizing, and she practically felt herself drifting away into a world of relaxation. Even the hottest blood had to cool at some point, it seemed. Just as the silver-haired girl had found peace, however, it was immediately interrupted by a large explosion in the distance. In shock, she spun around, eyes wide in horror. "What the hell!?" she exclaimed, stunned, and momentarily unable to move. Come on Mira, snap out of it! There might be people who need help! Mira mentally scolded herself, darting off towards the site with great agility and grace.
As she arrived, however, Mira lacked significant enough vantage to make a proper assessment of the situation. "It... did come from this way, right...?" she wondered out loud, glancing back and forth. There- she saw him! A young man who stood a good deal taller than her, and who was clad in... admittedly dashing attire. And that long, green hair... This was no time for ogling though, and Mira forced herself to remain focused. "Hey! You there! Lettuce-head! What's going on?" Smooth Mira. Real smooth. Such a charmer. No way that could possibly come back to bite you later. It was just as well though. An opportunity with a guy blown would be worth it if there were lives to be saved.

The people all ran away in terror after the explosion had occurred. " That... actually makes it easier for me." he thought as he stood there, watching them run. He didn't want to have dozens of eyes trying to stare a hole into him. Still, this wasn't exactly the way he wanted to explore the area. If he wasn't careful it was gonna be the end of his journey as quick as it started. In the smoke from the blast he could see shadowy silhouettes of people. The people that came out were dressed in roughed up rags, old and torn. They were armed and had smirks on their faces that clearly displayed their intentions. Considering he had never been in a fight before, the urge to get the hell out of there was strong. Before he could get any further with his thoughts he heard a voice directed at him. It was a girl, roughly the same age as him and a bit shorter with silver hair. In response to her he said, "Well, if I had to take a guess I'd have to say pirates are attacking. I don't suppose you have any ideas on how to proceed?" He hoped this person could help him decide between running back the way he came and miss the rest of this new place or stay and risk dying. SEBASTIAN 'DE VINCENTIS The Evil that Judges Evil Theme: Mai Mai Miracle - Obata Minako
Sebastian watched as the natives ran about in distress, terror, and pain as children stood idly by screaming for their mothers and fathers as smoke continued to shroud the once blissful sky. A simple petty smile presented itself across his gentle rose-tip lips as he slid past the crowds that rushed past him and away from the town towards a safe-haven. He walked in a sluggish manner towards the smoke as a wicked grin held still across his lips. The chaos that ensued by the explosion projected itself like perfect happiness to Sebastian, but with all objects of affection there never was anything truly perfect in the least only human illusions. There was no such thing as perfection in this world or any others in his opinion. He knew the average human whether from the smallest babe to the ill-minded adult admired perfection, and seeks to obtain it. "Is there a point in seeking perfection?" He told himself as he clinched his fist together and replied to himself in a dull manner, "There is none. None at all..."
Sebastian turned a corner and saw the devastation of the explosion and a few remaining individuals that rushed away from the aftermath, before noticing two peculiar children. His eyes scanned the fire to notice a few obscure shadows exit from the flames, "Pirates." He strolled towards the two with a lenient gaze as he overheard the boy he replied in a blunt tone, "Isn't it obvious!?" His dim smile was consumed and replaced with a grim expression. "There are two types of battles. Battles to protect your life, and battles to protect your pride. If you won't fight you should run with the others....."
He took a few steps forward and conjured a score of glyphs forged of darkness that molded into a very sharp and enormous scythe. Sebastian took the scythe into his hand and waved it to the side, "Fly with me! My Icarus."
